Unemployment rate in Australia drops to 5.8% amid strong recovery

As the economic stimulus has helped Australia is recovering from the economic crisis posed in view of the coronavirus pandemic, the rate of unemployment in the country has dropped to 5.8% from 6.3% in January. The employment rate surged with the addition of 88,700 jobs in February. “The strong employment growth this month saw employment rise above 13 million people,” said Bjorn Jarvis, head of labor statistics at the ABS.
