Trade receivables enough to repay my loans: Mehul Choksi

The key accused in the $2 billion Punjab National Bank fraud case, Mehul Choksi has filed a plea before a special judge to prevent the Money Laundering Act cases. According to the consolidated balance sheet of march 2017 of Gitanjali Gems, the company has trade receivables of Rs. 8,567 crore. ED is yet to attach Choksi's assets including the receivable amount, that will be sufficient to clear the entire loan of Rs. 6,097.63 crore.
