Three unicorns added per month in India in 2021: Hurun report

According to a report prepared by Hurun India, India added three 'unicorns' per month in 2021. The total number of startups in India nearly doubled to 51 by August 2021. The report is proof that the Indian government's 'Startup India' initiative has done well in honing the startups ecosystem. Hurun India said in its report that there are at least 32 gazelles, which are valued at over $500 million, that can turn unicorns in 2 years.
