Supreme Court stays NCLAT order restoring Cyrus Mistry as Tata group's executive chairman

In a major setback for Cyrus Mistry, the Supreme Court has stayed the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) order reinstating Cyrus Mistry as Executive Chairman of Tata Sons. The apex court said: "We are looking at the judicial attitude with which the NCLAT made the December 18 order and "find that it is sorely lacking". Mistry was restored as the executive chairman of Tata group by NCLAT on December 18.
