Softbank's valuation of WeWork drifts from $47 Billion to $8 Billion in 10 months

The fluctuation in the stakes of startups is a normal thing in today's market and it is evident from Softbank's recent evaluation of WeWork. 10 months after investing in WeWork at a valuation of $47 billion, Softbank is now reportedly valuing it at under $8 billion. The valuation can be seen as a rescue plan after WeWork's attempted IPO spectacularly imploded last month. However, WeWork's business fundamentals haven't changed.
