Sunil Mittal and Mukesh Ambani are fierce rivals in the telecom market. There was a time when Mittal used to be the king of the market but he has lost nearly a billion dollar during and post the launch of Reliance Jio. In this process, his net worth fell from $6.6 billion in 2015 to $5.7 billion in 2016. He has also lost $1.2 billion between 2018 and 2019 primarily. Sunil Mittal is the 14th richest person in India.
