RBI imposes moratorium on Yes Bank, limits withdrawals at Rs 50,000

Imposing moratorium on Yes Bank for the next one month till April 3, RBI has capped cash withdrawals from Yes Bank at Rs 50,000 per account till April 3. After taking into considering these developments, the Reserve Bank came to the conclusion that in the absence of a credible revival plan, and in public interest and the interest of the bank’s depositors, it had no alternative, said Reserve Bank of India.
