RBI governor Shaktikanta Das said the regulator is working on developing its own digital currency. The central bank is currently working on both technologies as well as the procedural aspect before announcing its official launch date. RBI says it is working on developing India’s own central bank digital currency. RBI’s governor also shared concerns about cryptocurrency from a financial perspective
