RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das calls corporate tax rate cuts a "Bold Move"

The RBI Governor Shaktikant Das addressed the media at the India Today Conclave 2019, where he termed the government's decision of slashing the corporate tax rates for domestic companies and new domestic manufacturing companies as a "bold step." The government cut down the effective corporate tax to 25% inclusive of all cess for domestic companies. Das said that this step would help the economy to grow.
