Razorpay's value is over $1 billion after fresh $100 million funding from GIC, Sequoia

Digital payments platform Razorpay secured $100 million in its latest round of funding. The valuation of the firm has now reached $1 billion, making it the latest unicorn to emerge from the Indian startup ecosystem. The investments worth $100 million were made by GIC and Sequoia Capital India. "The primary reason for fund raise is to go deeper to scale them in the coming years," CEO Harshil Mathur said.
