Pune firm Director arrested by Maharashtra CID in connection with Rs 3,700 crore scam

Hrishikesh Kanse and Supriya Kanse, the Directors of Samruddha Jeevan Foods India Limited and Pune-based Samruddha Jeevan Multi-State Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society, have been arrested by the Maharashtra Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with an alleged financial scam of Rs 3,700 crore. The two were on the run for five months before getting arrested. They have been sent to CID custody for seven days.
