Oyo hotel chain to be among the Unicorn club
Oyo hotel chain, run by a 24-year-old college dropout, is in talks to raise up to $1 billion in a deal that will help the company to enter India’s Unicorn club with a valuation of worth $4 billion. Ritesh Agarwal founded it 5 years back and has expanded in India, Malaysia, UAE, Nepal, and China. It is in talks with Soft Bank Vision Fund and US-based strategic investors. It will finalize the deal by the end of this month.
