Nissan boss Saikawa accepts he was overpaid in 2013 scheme, denies any wrongdoing

Chief executive of Nissan Hiroto Saikawa was accused of receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of extra stock options payments in 2013. The Nissan boss has accepted that he was overpaid, but has denied any wrongdoing and would return the money. The twist in the saga comes at a time when former boss Carlos Ghosn, had cast doubt over the future of its alliance. Saikawa said the bonus is a scheme of the Ghosn era.
