Nirmala Sitharaman tables Economic survey, 6%-6.5% growth predicted for 2020-21

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today presented the Economic Survey report before the parliament after the President's address at the beginning of the Budget session 2020. The Economic Survey 2019-20 tabled in the Parliament on Friday has projected a 6%-6.5% growth for 2020-21. According to the National Statistical Office’s (NSO) first advance estimates, India’s GDP is expected to grow at 5% in 2019-20.
