Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries ventures into Africa's telecom market

Mukesh Ambani is set to expand his telecom venture into Africa, specifically targeting mobile broadband customers. Radisys Corp., a subsidiary of Ambani's Reliance Industries Ltd., will provide essential network infrastructure, applications and smartphones for Ghana-based Next-Gen InfraCo. (NGIC). The announcement was made ahead of NGIC's official launch in Mumbai. NGIC plans to commence operations by the end of this year with a focus on providing 5G broadband services to mobile operators and internet service providers in Ghana.
