Malavika Hegde writes to Coffee Day employees after investigation shows foul in book

Malavika Hegde wrote to employees of Coffee Day assuring them of her commitment and cooperation to keep the enterprise going and bring down the debt. Her letter came hours after an investigation revealed that a private entity owned by late founder VG Siddhartha owed Rs 2,693 crore to the listed entity, Coffee Day Enterprises Limited. CDEL last year had asked Ashok Kumar Malhotra to probe a letter written by then-chairman VG Siddhartha.
