Germany’s flagship airline Lufthansa is set for a multi-billion-euro aid deal with the German government as the company wants to boost its finances amid the coronavirus pandemic. Lufthansa's supervisory board will meet the authorities to discuss the rescue package, reported to be worth around 9 billion euros. The deal, if approved, will need to be signed off by the airline’s shareholders and the European Commission.
