Lenskart steps into unicorn club with SoftBank funding

Eyewear retailer Lenskart has raised $231 million from SoftBank in a Series G funding round and with that Lenskart's valuation has touched $1.5 billion. 3-months ago Kedaara Capital has invested $55 million. Lenskart was founded in the year 2008 and it is often trolled for its offer messages to its customers. With the new funding, Lenskart has proudly joined the Unicorn club. In FY19 Lenskart posted revenue of INR 486cr.
