Koo App CEO says latest funding for the firm "is led by a truly Indian investor"

Koo app co-founder and chief executive Aprameya R has said the latest funding for the new micro-blogging platform "is led by a truly Indian investor". Aprameya further added that Shunwei, which had invested in "Vokal", an app owned by Koo's parent company, "will be exiting fully". China-based Shunwei Capital funded question and answer sharing app "Vokal" in 2018. Bombinate Technologies Private Limited is the parent firm of Koo.
