Key investors call on European Union to address climate change related to agriculture

While the European Union is committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions, the agriculture policies supporting high-polluting food industries are one of the major roadblocks to the goal. This is the reason that key investors managing 2 trillion euros of assets have called on the bloc to include climate targets in the distribution of the payments. The investors have asked the policymakers to provide incentives for farmers.
