Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos's net worth is on the rise despite the economic crisis faced by the world amid the coronavirus outbreak. Shares of Amazon rose by 4.4% to a record $2,878.70 Wednesday. This led to a huge boost in the founder's net worth, as it climbed to $171.6 billion, overcoming the previous high of $167.7 billion, set on Sept. 4, 2018. Bezos added $56.7 billion to his net worth, this year alone.
