India's startup Meesho raises $125 million in Naspers-led funding

In a bid to expand further outside India's major metropolitan regions and change the way millions shop online, a Bangalore-based startup, Meesho, raised $125 million in a new financing round led by South African internet group Naspers. Facebook, along with Former Vodafone Group Chief Executive Sir Arun Sarin participated in the funding round. The Meesho allows re-sellers to reach customers via social media platforms.
