India's forex reserves may have breached the $600 billion mark: RBI Governor

Reserve Bank of India governor Shaktikanta Das today said the country's forex reserves may have surpassed the $600 billion mark. According to RBI data, India's foreign exchange reserves surged by $2.865 billion to a record high of $592.894 billion for the week ended May 21. As per the data, the previous all-time high for the forex reserves was $590.185 billion for the week ended January 29, 2021.
