Indian startups raised $5.85 billion funding in the first half of 2019 with a total of 360 deals as per reports. But, the deals were 26.23% less as compared to H1 of 2017 (488 deals) & 16.47% lower than H1 of 2018 (431 deals); indicates poor investor confidence. Sequoia capital came up as the most active venture capital firm & Indian Angel Network most active seed-stage investor. Bengaluru held the top spot with maximum funding.
