India leading South Asia, to become the center of Global Growth: IMF

According to the latest research by the International Monetary Fund, South Asia's economy is escalating to become the center of global growth and it could contribute about one-third of the world's growth by 2040. The report says India has a significant role to play in South Asia's economic growth and it is emerging as a leader in the region. However, the IMF has excluded Afghanistan and Pakistan from the South Asia division.
