Imran Khan government borrows a record-breaking 7500 billion in 1st year of its tenure

According to the State Bank of Pakistan report cited by the Pakistani media, Imran Khan's government has broken all the records of borrowing money by borrowing Rs 7,509 billion (Pakistani currency) between Aug 2018 and Aug 2019. The report says that the government has borrowed Rs 2,804 billion from foreign sources and Rs 4,705 billion from domestic sources. The federal govt has a debt of Rs 32,240 billion over its head.
