GST revenue crosses Rs 1 lakh crore mark in November, third highest ever

The economy is slowing down and amid that the goods and service tax collections stood at Rs 1,03,492 crore by the month of November including Rs 19,592 crore for CGST and 27,144 crore for the SGST. IGST collections stood at Rs 49,028 crore and Cess was recorded at Rs 7,727 crore. This is the eighth time since the inception of GST in July 2017 that monthly collection has crossed the mark of Rs one lakh crore
