Google acquires Montreal-based game developer Typhoon Studios

Google has acquired Montreal-based game developer Typhoon Studios, the young studio has 26 employees only. It was founded 3 years ago but still hasn't released its first title yet. Their upcoming space exploration game 'Journey to the Savage Planet' will be released in late Jan and is being developed for multiple platforms. This acquisition is a part of Google's efforts to bolster its internal development plan.
