German airline Hahn Air issues first blockchain tickets, flew just 3 execs

A German airline announced to have issued the 1st airline tickets enabled by blockchain technology, in partnership with Winding Tree, an open-source travel distribution platform. The airline claims to be the 1st to allow passengers holding blockchain-based tickets to board a flight. An airline executive said that Hahn Air is not at the point of commercializing blockchain-powered tickets yet, but the company will look into it.
