Gatwick Airport acquired by Vinci SA for $3.7 Billion

London's busiest Gatwick Airport has been acquired by a French firm Vinci SA for $3.7 billion. The French construction firm added the airport to its aviation portfolio. 50.01% of the stakes are bought by a group of investors which also includes sovereign wealth funds from Abu Dhabi and Australia. The acquisition will be done with pound-denominated debt. The remaining stakes will be handled by the existing shareholder.
