Flipkart signs MoU with government to empower artisans, self-help groups

E-retail giant Flipkart signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry's Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Urban Livelihoods Mission to empower skilled yet underserved sections of society by inducting them into e-commerce. The firm has joined hands with the government to establish the 'Flipkart Samarth programme' to help women entrepreneurs in developing skills.
