Flipkart eradicates single-use plastic packaging across fulfillment centres

Indian's leading e-commerce giant Flipkart has said that it has eliminated all single-use plastic packaging used across its fulfillment centres in the country to replace them with plastic-free packaging in its own supply chain. The single-use plastic packaging has been replaced by eco-friendly paper shreds, recycled paper bags etc. Flipkart has recorded a 27% reduction in the use of single-use plastic packaging.
