Ex-Tesla CIO founded Tekion raises $150 million in Series C funding round, enters unicorn club

Tekion, an automotive industry-focused technology startup that has been founded by Jay Vijayan, the former CIO of Tesla, has received a funding of $150 million in its latest Series C funding round led by Advent International. The market value of the startup has now exceeded $1 billion and it has entered the unicorn club. Index Ventures, Exor, Airbus Ventures, and FM Capital are other firms that took part in the funding round.
