Employee accuses Google of firing her for sending internal pop-ups about labour rights

Google has been accused of firing a 5th employee. A security engineer Kathryn Spiers was fired for adding a pop up to an internal browser that tells colleagues about labour rights. Spiers says the company has over-reacted in an illegal & discriminatory manner. Google management says that she sent the code without getting proper approval & endangered company security. Spiers has filed unfair labor practice charges with NLRB.
