Electronic manufacturer Foxconn to invest $1 billion in India after Apple moves to India

Taiwanese electronic contract manufacturer Foxconn, which assembles Apple iPhones in India, is mulling over investing $1 billion in India as Apple has made a huge shift from China to India amid coronavirus crisis. This comes as Apple has made several requests to its clients, asking them to move out of China. Foxconn Chairman Liu Young-way said in a meeting that he sees India as a "bright spot" for development.
