Sensex witnesses biggest single-day gain in 10 years; Rupee jumps 45 paise after FM's Tax Booster

The domestic equity benchmark, Sensex witnessed a skyrocketed jump of 1600 points to score the biggest single-day gain in 10 years on Friday after the FM Nirmala Sitharaman announced a list of measures in an attempt of reviving the crippling economy. On the other side, the Rupee also saw an increase of 0.64% after rising 45 paise against the dollar. The FM inserted new provisions in the I-T act to promote growth.
