Economy is expected to move only upwards: RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das

Reserve Bank of India Governor Shaktikanta Das said the Indian economy was recovering from the crisis posed by the Covid-19 pandemic while adding that it is going to move upwards. “The large capital expenditure announced by the government will support economic activity and investment. It is expected to crowd in private investment. From now on, the economy is expected to move only in one direction — that is, upwards,” Mr. Das said.
