Delivery startup Rappi lays of 6% of workers

Rappi, the latin American delivery startup is laying off 6% of its workforce. According to sources, out of 5,000 employees Rappi is planning to lay off at least 300 of them and the decision was taken by its “internal leadership team”. Rappi was founded in 2015 and since then it has expanded its footsteps in nine countries. Recently, Japan’s Softbank group has invested $1 billion in the company.
