Corporate tax cut will draw Apple to India from China amid the US trade war: Modi Govt
The Modi government is expecting the shift of Apple and other companies from China to India due to the huge slash in tax structure to 15% for new companies, and the US trade war will act as a catalyst. “The top consideration of tax is now being fulfilled by us. No country is offering 15% tax without surcharge for a new unit being set up, so the logic (of relocation) is in our favour,” said Nirmala Sitharaman.
