Cognizant appoints Rajesh Nambiar as India Chairman and Managing Director

Cognizant has appointed Rajesh Nambiar as India chairman and managing director. Nambiar will succeed Ramkumar Ramamoorthy, who exited the firm in July. The CEO of the firm, Brian Humphries said Nambiar "will also serve as the Executive Committee representative of our nearly 200,000 associates in India." He has worked for over 12 years with IBM and 18 years with TCS. The third-quarter earnings of the firm will be announced soon.
