The US & Chinese investors compete to put capital in Indian start-ups with the US dominating in 2017 & China in 2018. As per the data, investments in the Indian ecosystem grew from$668 mn in 2016 to $5.6 bn in 2018, i.e. 900% growth in just 3 years. China brings financial strength, global reach, technical know-how & doesn't need privacy/security treatment. But, areas like defence to foreign funds, homeland security must be avoided.
