CCI takes Karnataka HC’s stay on Amazon, Flipkart probe to Supreme Court

The Competition Commission of India has filed an appeal in Supreme Court against the Karnataka HC’s order which stayed the watchdog’s probe on Amazon and Flipkart. The apex court is expected to hear the matter later this week, however, the date has not yet been finalised. Earlier in January 2020, CCI had ordered a probe against the two companies after traders’ bodies CAIT and DVM filed a complaint.
