CCI orders antitrust probe against Amazon, Flipkart over alleged violations of competition law

The Competition Commission of India ordered an investigation of Amazon & Flipkart over alleged violations of competition law in the latest setback for e-commerce giants operating in the country. The CCI said it was ordering a wider probe after a review of allegations that they were promoting some preferred sellers & hurting business for other small sellers. The CCI said its investigation should be completed within 60 days.
