Canada-based Aquinox Pharmaceuticals acquired by Sun Pharma for $8.2 Million

In a latest development, Canada-based Aquinox Pharmaceuticals has been acquired by Sun Pharma for $8.2 million. "Aquinox Pharmaceuticals is a research and development company focused on pharmaceutical products for the purpose of their commercialization," Sun Pharma said in a regulatory filing. The shares of Sun Pharma surged by 2% on Wednesday. The shares of the pharmaceutical giant were trading at Rs 491.50 apiece.
