Budget 2021: Seven port projects worth more than Rs. 2,000 crore announced by Finance Minister

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced seven port projects worth more than Rs. 2,000 crore. The finance minister said the projects would be undertaken through the public-private partnership (PPP) model. She also announced the launching of a deep ocean mission worth Rs. 4,000 crore for the investigation of seabed and biodiversity. FM also allocated Rs. 3,768 crore for the country's first digital census.
