Boeing has announced a $4.9 billion to cover the losses related to the grounding of 737 Max aircraft. The costs are based on the assumption that the 737 Max aircraft will return back by the year-end. Earlier, Boeing had pledged $100 million to the families of victims of both the plane crashes that killed several lives. Boeing seems to have acknowledged that there may be additional settlements beyond the $100 million fund.
