'Bitcoin King' arrested over $300 million embezzlement case in Brazil

Several persons have been detained in the Brazilian state of Parana for their suspected involvement in a bitcoin fraud. After a three-year investigation, a self-proclaimed "bitcoin king" was among those detained in connection with the scam. According to a news statement regarding "Operaço Daemon," or Operation Daemon, the group is accused of engaging in illegal contracts with thousands of consumers.
