Bengaluru based Shuttl raises $42 million from Toyota Group, SMBC Trust Bank

Bengaluru based Shuttl raises $42 million from Toyota Group's trading arm Tsusho Corporation and SMBC Trust Bank Ltd. With this funding, the company will be valued at $213 million. Toyota Tsusho reportedly invested $6.06 million for 3.01% whereas SMBC Trust Bank will be funding $12.13 million for 6.02% shares. The investment comes at a time when Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota is working on Toyota Share in Japan.
