Banks can't cite 2018 crypto ban order to warn account holders, says RBI

The Reserve Bank of India said the banks in the country can not cite the 2018 crypto ban order by the central bank, which was dismissed by the Supreme Court, to warn users about transactions related to cryptocurrency. This was after leading banks like HDFC and SBI sent warning letters to several users over cryptocurrency transactions. RBI said, "the circular is no longer valid from the date of the Supreme Court judgement."
