B2B payments startup PayMate raises capital from Japan's recruit, Visa etc

B2B payments startup PayMate, a cloud-based platform said it raised fresh capital from Recruit Strategic Partners, the venture capital arm of Japanese firm Recruit Co. Ltd., Brand Capital, and payments behemoth Visa. The company didn't disclose the amount, but the funding was about $25 million. They will use the capital to accelerate expansion within India as well as to international geographies, including CEMEA.
